The Biodynamic Structures workshop will be held at the California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco. The main building, originally designed as a bus maintenance garage by SOM, was renovated in 1996 to house all of the the design disciplines including Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion, and many others. Running through main building is the Nave, a 300 foot long review space shared by all departments. The Biodynamic Structures workshop will use this main space for the duration of the time as a studio open to the public.

In addition to the Nave, workshop attendees will have access to the Model Shop and Rapid Prototyping Studio at CCA. The Model Shop contains many hand and power tools including table saws, band saws, and vacuum formers. The Rapid Prototyping Studio has 2 large laser cutters, a CNC router, and Objet 3D printer.
